An Electric Tuk Tuk, also known as an Electric Passenger Tricycle or Bajaj Style E-Taxi, is a three-wheeled electric vehicle designed for urban and semi-urban passenger transport. It runs on battery power, produces zero emissions, and is widely used as an eco-friendly alternative to fuel-based tricycles in markets across Africa, Southeast Asia, and Latin America.

Our models range from compact 4-seater versions to extended 7-passenger variants. Overall lengths vary from approximately 2.6 to 3.4 meters, depending on the configuration. This allows flexibility for different market needs, from city taxis to rural transport.

We offer 3000W and 4000W motor options. The 3000W is ideal for most areas with moderate loads, while the 4000W version delivers better torque and hill-climbing performance—preferred in hilly or rough-terrain regions.

Top speed varies between 50–55 km/h depending on the model. With a 72V 150Ah battery, most units can travel 140–180 km per charge under standard load conditions.

Our Electric Passenger Tricycles use a combination of disc and drum brakes. Front disc brakes are standard on most models for improved safety. Some models support optional hydraulic braking systems if required.

The chassis is constructed using high-strength welded steel tubes, with some models using thickened frames for higher durability. The body is typically made from a combination of plastic, iron, and reinforced panels, depending on the model.

Most models are equipped with dual front fork suspension and rear spring shock absorbers. Higher-end models may feature double rocker suspension or independent shock systems—suitable for poor road conditions.

While both lithium and lead-acid batteries are technically compatible, we strongly recommend lithium batteries for all electric tuk models. Compared to lead-acid, lithium batteries offer significantly higher energy density, smaller physical size, lighter weight, and faster charging. More importantly, they provide stronger and more consistent power output—especially critical for commercial use and long-distance routes. Although the upfront cost is higher, the longer lifespan and performance advantages make lithium the better long-term investment for fleet operators and daily users.

Yes. All models include a digital meter showing speed, battery level, mileage, and sometimes error codes for diagnostics. Interfaces may vary slightly by model.

Many models come with USB charging ports, speakers, and basic audio features. Bluetooth and FM radio may be included or offered as optional upgrades.
